i was looking through my old LA notes, those that were written at the start of the year and i realised how much my handwriting has changed. it used to be neat, legible words. now, it's just a mass of mad scribbling. this goes to show that when people mature, they handwriting mature along with them too :)

mark sheets are in and i got quite a shock when i saw my CA2 marks for bio and ih. for once, i got a1 for bio! :O and it's not the low kind, it was 80 plus percent!! HAHAHA! not bad! for someone who had one of the lowest in class for bio last year! :) and cockroach dissection got me 11/12 for SIA! i think those people that did cockroach dissection majority had 11/12. maybe the high marks was due to our courage to actually dissect a cockroach. HAHA! and ih, another big shocker. a little background about my humanities. in sec 1, i passed geog and history by a few marks, and i'm referring to 50% pass here. in sec 2, i failed. geog - 24/50, history - 23/50 for eoys. in sec 3, overall ih i got b4, and it's the heng b4, 60! HAHA! this year, ca1, i had b4 again. BUT ca2, I GOT A2! :O NOT BAD! FIRST TIME I'M SEEING AN A FOR HUMANITIES! hahahaha! although it's just ca2, only 15% of the overall grade, i don't care! it's an improvement! :)

next week is the start of EOYS :O 4 weeks for EOY. it'll be an extremely fast 4 weeks. quick but painful.
after 4 weeks of EOYs, 2-3 weeks of hardcore chinese, chinese o's, then.. GCP!! :)
EOYs are coming, but all i've really studied is chem and math -.- i've barely touched the other subjects..

anws! today was the last day we were going to see mrs amy teaching us. hahaha! she's the first teacher that's saying goodbye to us, since ih paper is next friday and she doesn't have any lessons with us next week.

it's kinda weird that we're going to graduate soon and move over to hcjc. i'll miss loads of stuff, esp the feeling of being in a girls' school! we talk about whatever topic we want, without the need of considering if it's a sensitive topic to the opposite gender. sit in whatever position we want, cos it's all girls! hahaha! will definately miss all that freedom.

yesterday was a bad day, today was a much better day! :)

we had pe today, and the best thing was that we didn't have to follow some strict module! we could play whatever we wanted :) so about 18 people from the class split into 2 groups and played captain's ball. it was rather confusing, cos there were so many people. during the game, sheryl fell and blood was flowing from her knee, but she didn't care about it and carried on playing. in the end, she still went to the GO to get it dressed. after she fell, i fell -.- it was stupid, didn't land properly and ended up falling -.-
the score for the whole period was 16 to 15. HAHA! hot, but fun!

during recess, we were coming up with christian names for yanting. huaimin suggested SOT so that she will become SOT ONG (sotong). hahahaha! there were other funny names like leh ong (lelong), may ong (mei yong), you ong (you yong), nv ong (nv yong). in the end, in class, i suggested brenda and she accepted it! yanting was also saying that the name brenda was created when brandon married amanda and named their daughter brenda. -.-

after school, we went to URA. a bunch of people started playing with some camera thing and kept "spying" on people and seeing what kind of clothes they hang outside their window. HAHA! super hilarious. after URA, amelia, xinni, tingshan and i went to maxwell food centre to buy ham jin peng. i found the shop rather interesting cos you have to fry the ham jin peng yourself. haha!

good thing today was a good day! :) but it was kinda slack to begin with.

today is a bad day, a very bad day.

1. super tired today.
2. the SIL definately did not help. on the contrary, it made it worst. during that super chim SIL on cosmology, i totally zoned out. all i got from that 1 hour, is that the universe is expanding. that's all.
3. my calculator spoilt. the tan, cos and sin buttons don't work! before i realised that it spoilt, a minute ago it was still working and i was still happily pressing the buttons. the next minute, it just couldn't work... ahhhh.. my calculator for close to 4 years!! :(
4. realised that i forgot a lot of stuff about trigo today. but the good thing was that it was kinda refreshed by mdm leon when she went through the worksheet on the fundamentals of trigo :)
5. bio was HUH?! yes, i don't get bio. and i got very stressed when people kept throwing in info to ms chee. the whole time, i was just quite lost, then zoned out after that.
6. phy was another HUH?! mr shone went through last year's eoy paper 2 with us, and i couldn't answer a single question. i realised that i forgot everything about conduction, convection and radiation. what he was saying during lesson today was like greek to me.
7. didn't study after school today. was too tired and went home to sleep instead.
8. lost my hole puncher, can't file my worksheets properly. i'm super frustrated that it's not neatly filed into the file and in order but just slotted into the file.
9. 2 more weeks to start of EOY and i'm still procrastinating.
10. all i've probably started on is chem. basically, i'm screwed for every subject.

looking back at sec 3, i don't remember how i studied for eoys. when did i start memorising the stuff?

when the teachers go through the topics with us, it makes me even more worried and stressed cos i don't know what they are talking about. t
the school should just give us home-learning till eoy, so that students can study at home instead of stoning in class when you don't get a shit the teacher is going through cos you haven't started revising on that particular topic.



sec 4 year passed by too quickly...

yeah, i'm trying to restrict myself from spending long hours on fb. but i realised that without fb, i'm going to youtube more. HAHA! youtube seemed to have substituted fb for me.

yeah yeah yeah! i'm going to make oreo cheesecake tmr!! :)

and i seriously need to clear up my room. it's in a big big mess!

i knew you 4 years ago, when you sat beside me during the first few days of school. i still remember the time where you discovered that we share the same birthday. your odd enthusiasm kinda freaked me out. HAHAHA! we went for msp together, didn't pay attention in class together. favourite phrase that we always used during every lesson: CIKGU, BOLEH SAYA PERGI KE TANDAS? hahaha! and now, i still remember that phrase very clearly although we had quit in sec 2. the first time when you talked to me, showed me your ez link card as a proof that we share the same birthday, i never thought that we will end up being good friends and celebrate our birthdays together every year.

doing ih reflections now. looking back at my sec 3 ih assignments, i realised how much my handwriting had changed. last time, it used to be very neat and legible. but now, it's messy, all over the place, but it looks more matured now. HAHA!

i know what i want for birthday.
loads of erasers, the good type. i seem to be always misplacing my erasers and have to end up using some lousy eraser i find at home which cannot erase properly.

eoys are starting on 30 sep! :O this year's eoys are rather spread out. it's less than a month away from the first paper, but i still don't really feel the pressure, although i keep telling myself that i need to start mugging SOON. really soon. i don't know why, but i feel that my sec 4 year is kinda slack. i've been basically slacking throughout my whole year, didn't really study very hard for any of the block tests so far. maybe it's because there are too many things happening this year, syf being one of the major things that happened. block test 1 didn't even feel like block test, cos it was too spread out. block test 2 didn't feel like block test too, don't know why, it just didn't. haha! that explains my lousy results for block test 2.

i should really stop procrastinating and start studying!
this year's eoys is going to be different, cos we are tested on our sec 3 and 4 topics.
wow.. that's really a lot to study.
